Gustav Egerstedt ​makes tricky situations easier​ for OLW

Known for his straight-faced approach to comedy, Giants & Toys director Gustav Egerstedt has helmed two new films for Sweden’s leading snack manufacturer, OLW.

Tasked with reminding Swedes that snacks can make the state of things feel better, no matter how precarious the situation, Egerstedt brought his signature combination of comedic timing and captivating art direction to the films. 

"Everything is immensely important and serious these days. It’s exhausting. So the idea was simply to remind people of the importance of enjoying the small things…like trans-saturated fats" said Gustav Egerstedt.

Having built a highly successful and award career as one of Sweden’s leading Executive Creative Directors, Gustav Egerstedt began pursuing his love of filmmaking professionally and has since directed films for brands such as Burger King, Samsung, Cloetta, and the Swedish Lottery.
