Los Angeles-based Green Dot Films has signed Director Omri Cohen for US commercial representation. The announcement comes from Green Dot's Managing Director, Rick Fishbein, and its EP and Head of Sales, Darren Foldes.

The director's latest work for Nike is the "Los Fearless" campaign, which celebrates the culture of street basketball and neighborhood pride in L.A. It features three short films that follow native athletes in their respective neighborhoods' and explores their competitive spirit, fearless nature and love of the game. The films star Surfer Kolohe Andino, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Andre Merritt and Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher Ricky Romero. Nike projected the films onto LA's Grand Street overpass and screened them in venues all over Los Angeles during the recent NBA All Star Game weekend celebration.

Cohen's body of work includes a Nike (RED) campaign about the fight against HIV/AIDS, which debuted during the World Cup and features global soccer star Didier Drogba and a Nike campaign for the Beijing Olympics via F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi in South America. His work launching the Microsoft Kin social media phone featured artists Ed Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros; the spots demonstrate Cohen's understanding of current youth culture.

Born in Israel, Cohen moved to the US as a child and developed a love for directing while traveling the world. He speaks six languages and has directed work in four. He got his start by directing "Charlie," a contest-winning music video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which moved the band's frontman Anthony Keidis to tears.  "After watching dozen and dozens of admirable efforts, I finally saw a video for 'Charlie' that made me cry," the rocker said when announcing the winner.  "When I looked at my girlfriend, she was crying too. That's when I knew we had a winner."
