Simpkiss joins Independent

Nigel Simpkiss has joined UK production company Independent. Having worked on Top Gear since its re-launch in 2002, Simpkiss has also shot commercials for the likes of Lexus and Range Rover. Starting his directing career in the world of music videos is also a keen documentary filmmaker. Most recently he made a documentary about Evil Knievel with Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond, and he’s keen to bring that experience to his commercials career.
