Appropriately titled, I Have Everything, this punchy film created by production house Creative Embassy and director Lubos Vacke, does seem to have all sorts of everything in thrown into the mix.
A blazing football hurtles through the sky into Barcelona, it's a mystical call to arms (or feet) to the city's soccer lovers, luring them onto the streets for a kick about. Cue a collage of swivelling eyeballs, rotund puffer fish, dancing tattoos and top dribbling action in a zesty blend of live action, animation and VFX.
Creative Embassy EP Vasek Sladek explains how they wanted to convey the sport's sense of freedom : “Unlike classic soccer, street football is more based on the player and their skills. It doesn't matter where you are, who you are or if you are alone – when you have the ball, you have everything.”
Gabriel Valarezo founded the project Street Football x BCN, to represent the city’s football community, organising Nike-sponsored games every week in two city centre locations, Poble Sec and Barceloneta, accompanied by music and football stars from around the world.
“Football is important to society so we wanted to get back to the roots of what makes the game so great, by making it open and accessible to anyone. Street Football x BCN seeks to make ordinary people feel like champions by offering a space where they feel valued. I’m happy that we’ve created something where people from all over the world—I am originally from Ecuador—can come together.”
