Nomad announce the addition of editing powerhouse, Govert Janse, to their London representation.
A proud born and raised Nederlander, Janse studied film and broadcasting in the United States before moving back to the Netherlands and building his career as a documentary editor.
After a 10 year stretch in documentary film, he decided to switch gears to international commercial and ad work, and has made that his focus ever since. Having worked with the directorial genius of David Lachapelle, Ridley Scott, Billy Pols and Paul W.S. Anderson, amongst many others; Janse’s turned out stunning projects for clients including Nike, Adidas, Qatar Airways, and NHS to name a few, garnering the accolades of various editorial awards and industry recognition along the way.
Janse on his approach to film, creation, and everything in between: “I consider myself to be a visual interpreter, collaborator, idea translator, and committed hard working gentleman. With a documentary film background, I take a different approach to looking at images and enjoy the problem solving of how to make it all come together. While that might be true, above all I'm a dedicated editor. I truly love editing.”
