Directed by Eoin Glaister through Stink UK, this surreal music video for indie band Glass Animal’s track Show Pony is a western-inspired tale of an unlikely friendship with a tragic twist.
Shot on location with production services from Stink Films Mexico, the promo leans into the 70s-style aesthetics synonymous with the band. Gorgeous cinematography, tailor-made alien costumes, prosthetics, miniatures, and some impressive cow-wrangling come together to bring this imaginative and comedic tale to life.
Glaister, Director, Stink Films said: “Dave had a personal story he wanted to play out through aliens. I ran with this and added a cow. Naive really, given how hard they are to direct. We shot this in Mexico which was an incredible experience. Locations were stunning, crew were exceptional, cast ideal and the constant quesadillas spot on. Other than a run in with the Mexican army and being extorted by the police, the shoot was a breeze.”
