Creative content studio, Ghost Robot, announces the promotion of Kacie Barton to Executive Producer. Under her new role, Barton will lead the agency and direct-to-client communications and project oversight.

“Kacie has grown to embody everything Ghost Robot stands for and we are excited for her to continue representing our company.” Says partner and co-founder Mark DePace. “She has high creative expectations, but understands that creativity must also be tied to a realistic execution. There’s an art in that and it’s a challenge she really appreciates.”

Barton joined Ghost Robot in 2015 as Head of Production and quickly established herself as an integral part of the company's leadership team. Under her guidance, Ghost Robot continued to prove itself as the creative problem solvers of the industry, often tackling difficult projects with a wide range of deliverables without sacrificing quality.

When I call Kacie it’s like reconnecting with a friend

“People who choose to work in this industry are frequently brilliant weirdos and the most gratifying aspect of my role is figuring out how to get them all to work well together.” Explains Barton.  “We are all just humans doing fun work and when we're able to step back and enjoy the process, I think that comes across in the final product.”

Over the last few years Barton has overseen projects with some of the biggest brands in the business, including Instagram, Samsung, Airbnb, eBay, and Peloton. She is often the chief architect of efficient and effective production plans that generate hundreds of deliverables across multiple formats. Her wide range of experiences and relationships with agency and brand partners alike has led to continuous growth during her tenure.

“When I call Kacie it’s like reconnecting with a friend,” says Derek Gannon, Executive Producer at Edelman, NY. “Togetherness is the key as she always acts like a true partner, willing to be in the trenches and figure out the correct move forward for each project.”

Barton began her career at Imaginary Forces, starting as a production coordinator and leaving as fully fledged producer. Her experience there with post production and visual effects has been integral with Ghost Robot’s integrated production model handling projects from concept to delivery.

Ghost Robot partner and co-founder Zach Mortensensaid, “Kacie’s 'creative-through-delivery’ expertise is invaluable in the current climate of constantly evolving production approaches, and the ever-changing (and expanding) needs of every project. We are psyched for her to step into this leadership position and drive these conversations with our clients and agency partners."
