GEICO’s insurance rep-tile to the rescue

In this fun campaign brought to life by The Martin Agency and directed by Dan Opsal through Hungry Man, insurance brand GEICO’s recently promoted reptilian employee flexes his ease expertise. 

From football locker rooms to galaxies far away, the animated protagonist appears in sticky situations inspired by familiar movie tropes, where he saves the day by offering simple insurance solutions. 

The ongoing campaign kicks off with two commercials – Down and Easy, which has the Gecko called into a forlorn changing room to rally a football team with a rousing halftime speech, and Wormhole, where the he is summoned to an intergalactic council meeting to share how GEICO makes it easy to insure everything from cars to jewellery.
