Gayle and Blackbear’s gory toy story

Produced by Friends Electric and directed by Chris Ullens – who, remarkably, had only a four-week turnaround – the stop-motion story uses non-moving plastic figurines to play out a sinister suburban tale of neighbours gone wrong. 

UK teen pop sensation Gayle is visualised as a rather unhinged avenger who takes issue with her toy-next-door, singer-songwriter Blackbear, when he mows his lawn in a disrespectful pattern… 

Celebrity Deathmatch meets Groundhog Day as the neighbours embark on increasingly inventive ways to dispatch each other on a daily basis.
