September sees the expansion of creative film studio The Progress Film Company. After ten years and with an injection of new senior management and talent, Progress is ready to drive forward into the UK advertising network.

Progress have already fostered strong direct to client relationships with brands including O2, TAG Heuer and Kuoni and are looking forward to developing more, with two high profile additions to the Progress team: Andrew Porteous as Managing Director/Executive Producer and Antoinette de Lisser as Head of Sales/New Business. Andrew and Antoinette are a dynamic Jamaican duo who boast over 50 years of experience in advertising, media, creative and production, as well as a vast international network of friends and contacts in the industry.

Andrew and Antoinette will work alongside company founders - and rostered directors - Matt Hopkins and Ben Lankester, and Director of Operations and fellow partner Pannie Lun.

Matt and Ben say: “We are looking forward to coming out of this pandemic with a strong line up of fresh directing talent and in Andrew and Antoinette a fierce new partnership expanding our awareness and charging up our Sales. We are incredibly excited about what Progress’ future holds”.

Matt adds: “As a company set up by filmmakers, supporting emergent talent and creating community projects has always been part of our DNA through events such as OFF SET and The David Thomas Awards. Now, with Andrew and Antoinette’s network, we want to develop our roster of directorial & creative talent commercially to create more outstanding work for new and existing clients.”

Ben adds: “By dividing up and relaunching our two offerings as a creative film studio, Progress X and Progress S will offer maximum flexibility to both agencies and clients, with an adaptable hybrid model crossing over where necessary.”
