The new spot for British Gas, directed by Geej Ower through Stink, shows the very real situations four in ten households are experiencing as they will struggle to pay their next energy bills.
Created by Nucleus, it starts bright and loud as a single father says goodbye to his children, before becoming gradually colder and darker as he walks around his house switching off all electrical appliances in a bid to save money.
With a voiceover from rapper Professor Green, awareness is raised for the support that is becoming available for people and encourages them to Stop the Silence Around Energy Debt and reach out to the charity, British Gas Energy Trust if they need help.
