In partnership with Wieden + Kennedy, Ford Motor Company has launched this beautifully-crafted, documentary style film – the first in a series of narrative-led shorts highlighting the sense of community cars can create.
Brought to life by RSA Films’ Jared Malik Royal, the first episode of Welcome to the Club contrasts break-neck car shots with candid conversations to introduce Bert Groves, a New Orleans community icon and leader of Ford Mustang enthusiast club, Mustang Mafia.
Soundtracked by New Orleans native artist Curren$y, the film showcases the Ford fanatic’s inspiration for starting the club as well as its ongoing philanthropic pursuits, culminating with a sweet gifting moment where the club donates an older Mustang to a local high school’s auto program.
