There are certain qualities a person needs to fully appreciate the subtle aromas, delicate shapes, and alluring colours of fresh flowers.
A fondness for nature, fully developed senses, aesthetic appreciation all count, but probably the most important attribute is actually being alive.
GUT LA's new campaign for DoorDash features a mordantly funny film, directed by Fran Colombatti through Landia, challenging the notion that flowers are only for men to give – and not receive.
Titled Flowers are for Every Valentine, it boasts a chorus of departed chaps singing a ditty about getting their first flowers when they're six feet under.
So if a man you know has never had a floral tribute get him a bunch – you never know, it might be on his ‘bouquet’ list.
