Using the provocative slogan Mograph is Dead. Long live Mograph! as its theme, Flavor's entertaining opening film for Half Rez 9 blasts the eyeballs with colourful imagery in every form you can imagine.
Kicking off with a handful of loveable glove puppets finding their voice, the spot soon fires its way into a kaleidoscopic journey through many mediums, combining AI generative backgrounds, VR painting, cell animation, and more!
Playing out like The Muppets on MDMA, the barnstormer utilises associate creative director Brad Backofen's experiments with motion capture and puppetry to create something that's a vibrant celebration of the glory of animation.
