Created by DRUM London and directed by SMUGGLER's Jamie Rafn, this emotive new film sees ‘Hanna’, played by Coline Atterbury, searching for the perfect partner.
We see her sitting anxiously in a cafe, nervously watching the door, witness her friends and family encourage her at various social functions to believe that she’ll find her match, as she takes light relief in playing the fool with her little sister. The film then reveals that her longing has a much more poignant meaning.
The powerful film was edited by Spencer Ferzst, who says; "Jamie did such a great job directing the performance, as it was a delicate balance to ensure the audience thinks that Hanna is looking for a partner, whilst also ensuring they remain sympathetic, for when her real search is revealed. Any project that supports and helps people in any kind of need, is obviously enormously rewarding to be a part of, add to that the fantastic team from Smuggler and DRUM that were involved and it was a great project to be a part of."
Oscar winning actress Olivia Coleman once again collaborates with the blood cancer charity to provide the voiceover for the moving film, as well as being the charity’s patron.
