Farm League signs filmmaker Andrew de Zen
The multi-genre storyteller joins the Farm League roster for US representation.
Creative film company and certified B Corp Farm League welcomes Andrew de Zen for US representation in commercials and branded content.
de Zen brings a bold narrative perspective and a strong technical skillset to the film studio as they expand their roster of multi-faceted creators. de Zen's work balances intimacy with enormous scale to capture the full range of human emotion. This expertise is central to his ongoing collaborations with musician Alaskan Tapes, as seen in 2026 release Holocene, which blends raw performances and grounded cinematography with heightened worlds and purposeful visual effects.
His background in writing and photography meld with his deep love for animation and CGI, resulting in work that has a strong editorial vision with a conceptual edge, as seen in Magic for Isdin (featuring tennis star Carlos Alcaraz) and recent Intact Olympics campaign Leave Your Mark (featuring the Canadian Olympic speed-skating team). He’s worked with many world-class athletes, including Michael Phelps, Rory McIlroy, and Anthony Joshua.
With recognition from Cannes Lions, the YDAs, Berlin Commercial Awards, the British Arrows, Shots Awards EMEA, and multiple 2025 Ciclope awards for his Amnesty International film The Robbery, de Zen's work exists without borders. His unexpected, fresh visual style and honest characters resonate internationally.
de Zen comments: “Farm League's initiative into a more focused director roster, choosing to foster its creative excellence by supporting narrative and passion projects from their directors, and this feeling of a close knit family all really stood out. It's a company run by people who are really fucking good at what they do, and they are genuinely awesome people. I've always been someone who prides themselves in being adaptable, and Farm League feels like an extension of how I like to work.”
Tim Lynch, Farm League Founder & EP adds: “ADZ's work stopped me, that's always what I look for. He's a writer, a hyper-creative technician, and a visualist, and those things rarely live in the same director. Holocene showed us a filmmaker who can make the intimate feel enormous. We're so excited to go further with him."
