Shady’s back, tell a friend! Detroit rapper Eminem has dropped this dynamic promo for his track Houdini, the first from his upcoming album, The Death of Slim Shady.
Directed by Rich Lee through Synapse Virtual Production, sees the return of his iconic character, Slim Shady, and is jam-packed with cameos, references and callbacks to his renowned career.
The music video opens with the artist receiving a call from rapper and producer Dr Dre, who informs Eminem that a younger version of himself has arrived in 2024 via a time portal in New York City.
In a playful continuation of the comic-book style seen in his previous promo for Without Me, with the artist even wearing the same superhero suit, present-day Eminem fights with his younger self until they merge into an amalgamation of each other, before comedian Pete Davidson drives them into the dark streets of NYC in his Lamborghini.
