Henry Oliver and Justin Du Pre have co-directed this mesmerising music video through MindsEye for English indie rock band Elbow’s sombre new track, Lovers Leap.
Through striking, high-contrast monochrome photography, the film sees a man and a woman race towards each other, embrace, and free fall through a dreamlike, Escheresque landscape.
Surreal landscapes, esoteric imagery, and live-action footage laced with VFX merge to culminate in a dark, dreamy and symbolic interpretation of the track’s ominous lyrics.
