Directors’ rep Emma Horgan joins MindsEye

Production company MindsEye has welcomed Emma Horgan to the team as Directors’ Rep.
Horgan will be reporting directly to partners Hughie Phillips and Charlie Phillips in representing its eclectic roster of esteemed and emerging directors to the UK market.
Born and bred in Cork, Ireland, Horgan arrived on the London scene in 2022 as a film graduate. Her ambitious spirit earned her a position at Tenthree, where she began as Front of House, keenly cultivating relationships across the industry. From there she went on to join the creative team at Moxie Pictures where her good eye saw her working closely with directors, further solidifying her reputation in the industry.Her commitment to fostering creativity aligns seamlessly with MindsEye's mission, promising an exciting new chapter for both herself and the company.
On joining MindsEye, Emma Horgan, said: “I need to really believe in something in order to represent it. MindsEye MD Hughie Phillips said: “I hired Emma thinking she was Sharon’s sister but apparently she isn’t. Still, it turns out she’s a very nice person and cares a lot about directors and filmmaking. Which is lucky, I suppose.”
MindsEye boasts a roster of exceptional directors known for their unique and bold style, including talents like Andrew Gaynord, Ben Taylor, Gustav Sundstrom, Emma Debany and Benjamin Green. Over the past few years, the company has experienced significant growth, earning recognition at Cannes, SXSW, YDAs, D&AD, and The British Arrows. Additionally, MindsEye has recently launched a Film and TV department, led by Katie Mavroleon.
Horgan’s appointment is effective immediately.
