The director Christina Hodnet known for her honest and sensitive work exposing the beautifully awkward and imperfect reality of daily life with families, children and babies, has signed with Spears & Arrows for US representation.

“I’ve known Jason Wolk for years,” relates Hodnet. “We even worked together briefly at another company before he started Spears & Arrows and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. I did a freelance job with him last year and really enjoyed the insight and support that he and his team brought to my process. It was a great collaboration from start to finish.”

“Well, Christina makes it easy,” Wolk adds. “On top of being a great visual storyteller, she is a very generous collaborator. She’s fun and creative, and agencies love partnering with her because she listens to them and finds solutions for them, while always keeping her eye on the story and the message.”

With honest and nuanced performances and beautiful images, Hodnet’s films have captured the tender and often sweetly humorous moments between parents and kids; the special bond between friends; or that sense of wonder and discovery in a child’s eyes for clients such as Pampers, P&G, Beech Nut, Mazda, Rick Krispies, Campbell’s, and Canon.

“Christina blends her intuitive spirit as a woman and a mother with her artist’s eye for honesty to create work that is truly authentic”, says Wolk. “That’s what sets her apart.”

Christina Hodnet joins a roster of S&A directors that includes Arni Thor Jonsson, Don Broida, Mick Wong, Ago Panini, Rob Fiocca, David Hicks, Anton Jøsef, David Stoddart, Lisa Linke, Michael Shapiro, Nick Piper, Michael Uppendahl, Wondo, and Timothy Kendall (West/Texas.)
