Entertainment Lions
Awarding the work that "turns content into culture", the Entertainment Lions jury saw fit to award two Grand Prix this year; rewarding the traditional storytelling of dentsumcgarrybowen's In Love We Trust short for Sinyi Realty and 72andsunny/m ss ng p eces' tech-savvy Swipe Night for Tinder.
Jury President Jae Goodman, CEO, Observatory (A Stagwell and CAA Company), praised dentsumcgarrybowen's work for taking the ‘long view’, saying “This is about shifting culture in a direction that ultimately helps the brand and business. It is really hard not to reward and award something that does all of those things at the same time and does them so beautifully and powerfully.”
856 entries were received, and the jury awarded 36 Lions: five gold, 11 silver and 18 bronze.

Jury President, Wyclef Jean, President and Chief Strategy Officer, Sodo Mood Lab, said the jury chose this as a Grand Prix because of “the idea of engagement, the idea of courage and the idea that we will never stand down”, adding, “we have to send these kind of signals around the world.”
The three gold awards the jury recognised could not have been more different, with Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, SAINt JHN, and WizKid's BROWN SKIN GIRL, United4Rescue's Drowned Requiem and Pokemon's P25 Music all achieving the accolade.
407 entries came in for this category and 18 Lions were awarded: three gold, five silver and eight bronze.
