CZAR Amsterdam welcomes photographer Jermain Cikic to their Rising Star roster

The up-and-coming Dutch/Bosnian photographer’s work has already been featured by Atmos and It’s Nice That.
With this signing, CZAR is launching the ‘Rising’ branch of their photography department.
Nina Pus, who helms the department, shares: ‘We are increasingly working on expanding our photography agency into a creative community: nurturing and developing our in-house talent.’ Ensuring that, like CZAR’S film roster, there are seniors working alongside the more junior makers in order to offer a wide and interesting variety of different styles.
Fresh talent Jermain Cikic feels an intrinsic pull towards topics related to migration, displacement, identity and home. His latest photographic project Where Dreams Get Shattered, which shares humanising portraits of refugees based in Samos (Greece), was featured by platforms like Atmos, It’s Nice That, and Huck Magazine.
Whilst Cikic’s work focuses on documentary projects, his ability to play right at the intersection between aesthetic creativity and uncompromising reality creates fascinating fashion editorials too.
