Morris has been a keen filmmaker since he was 13, every spare penny went towards making fun films with friends leading him to directing his very own feature length production at just 16 years old. Over the years he has directed several award winning short films taking him to the largest film festivals in the world such as Toronto International Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival, Tropfest, Flickerfest, CineSpace and Hollyshorts.
Morris’s work packs a powerful punch of impressive visuals, dynamic and tricksy transitions reflecting the emerging youth culture and trends of today. His showreel features high-profile campaigns for clients including Qantas, Coca-Cola, Menulog, The Sydney Opera House, Tourism Australia, Toyota, Nestle.
Not to mention Morris’ music videos have accumulated over 50 million views, nominated for an ARIA Award and been lauded as “better than Tom Hanks” by MTV.
His short film SPACE: A Skate Odyssey was shot on a range of formats over several months, replicating 1960’s Florida. Morris' exceptional choice of location, wardrobe and production design resonates with the archive footage curating a cool music video vibe, earning a Vimeo Staff Pick.
