Onions tend to have the ability to make your eyes water, but after this surreally macabre promo for CULTS latest track, the tear may be a mixture of joy and fear.
Starring the New York duo Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion [aka CULTS] as not-so-normal homebodies, Onions is one-part Little Shop of Horrors, one part Evil Dead, in which a couple embark on an increasingly deranged routine, egged on by a pair of nefarious plants.
Shot by Alice Fassi through a collab between C41 and LA\PAC, and with a deliciously vintage look that is reminiscent of Japanese cult classic Hausu, this shock of a promo has the sharp, punchy flavour of its titular vegetable.
