Recalling old defeats and setbacks, Qualifiers is a defiant, in-your-face rap full of momentum and anger. As A.C.O. performs in a dark room, the screen behind him shows newspaper clippings, old matches, and archival footage of Peru’s defeats and setbacks. Even though Peru has experienced tough times, they always seem to stand back up.
Directed by Santiago Chavez, Qualifiers is an emotive examination of the past of the Peruvian soccer team, and a hopeful look towards the future. Produced by Fertil, the spot is brash, exciting, and remarkably catchy.
