In this heartwarming short film, created by VML for household brand Colgate, Oriental Films' Yupi Segura weaves touching themes of secrecy, discovery, and self acceptance.
The gorgeously shot spot follows Dani, a teen who hides their true identity from their parents - which involves dressing differently at home and washing their preferred clothes in secret.
Until one night, when Dani’s mum discovers a secret box of clothes whilst collecting dirty laundry. In an impactful and emotional closing scene, she washes the garbs and returns them with a comforting hug, illustrating that softness not only occurs through the physical act of washing clothes but also in those sincere moments intertwined around the activity.
