Going to the cinema; sunning on a beach; hurtling down a mountain on a snowboard - as far as fun dates go, the one presented in Coca Cola's latest spot is hard to beat. That is, apart from the fact your partner is a tongue...
Playing on the insight that the distinctive taste of Coke is readily associated with supercrazywildtimes, the joyful spot from W+K London somehow makes the sight of a young woman having a laugh with a giant tongue non-creepy, instead playing on ideas like mouth muscle getting itself stuck to a frozen ice sculpture and getting into the groove at a party.
The spot launched last night, during the Love Island final (one of the BIG EVENTS of UK TV this year), and is complemented with 30’’ and 20’’ versions, alongside out of home, digital experiential and PR.
