Chu Moves to The Corner Store
The Toronto production company has expanded its Canadian roster with the signing of Director Eddy Chu.

Toronto-based production company The Corner Store has added Eddy Chu to their list of directors.
Starting in the industry as a casting video operator and then a producer, Chu made the leap to directing in 1997 and his career took off after being featured in the new directors segment of the UK's Shots Reel. Some of his most noteworthy projects include a spot for Premium Plus crackers titled "Fireworks," a spot titled "Subway" for Listerine, "Phone Bomb" for Cantel/AT&T and another called "Interrogation" for Panasonic. Chu was also featured as one of the world's top new international directors in the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director's Showcase in Cannes.
The Store's Executive Producer Jennie Montford notes, "We are really excited that Eddy has joined the Store. He has traditional techniques but also embraces new styles and technology. His comprehensive approach makes him extremely versatile, he brings many ideas to the table when looking for the best way to tell the story.
