Grammy nominated OneRepublic released their official video for Wild Life.

The video was directed by frequent collaborator, Christian Lamb and produced by RSA's Black Dog Films. The Pacific Northwest provided the breathtaking backdrop, which features Ryan Tedder, with dancers Matthew Gibbs and Courtney Scarr in a passionate, emotive dance choreographed by Genna Moroni. Christian says the dancers reflect “two halves of one mind.” Matthew’s movements technical and methodical, Courtney’s free flowing and intuitive, echoing both the song’s lyrics and their surroundings.

Wild Life began with the basic idea of literally bringing the song title and lyrics to life. From there, it grew to a story immersed in nature, against a backdrop of infinite wilderness and open ocean. But it wasn’t as effortless as it looks. Christian found himself and his team fleeing eight locations across three states because of the California wildfires, before Google Earth landed them at Washington state’s Ruby Beach and Hoh Rainforest, the same rugged beach and ancient forest seen in the Twilight movies.

“The Pacific Northwest always felt right,” Christian says. “We just needed a little luck.”

The track appears on Disney+’s original movie, Clouds which was released on 10/16.
