Chelsea director David Gordon Green’s latest campaign for Little Caesars brings us a motley crew of oddball characters with just one thing on their mind: pizza.

The four spots showcase a stark contrast in style; the first pair presents Brock and Darcie, two Little Caesars employees who are exhausted, waking early to prep the fresh ingredients which make up these classic pies. The endearing pieces capture Green’s knack for infusing naturalistic imagery with a sly sense of humor – short, sweet films bursting with realism and charm.

In no way do these spots forewarn of what’s to come.

The latter pair focus on an assortment of surreal kooks, from a pair of hungry mechanics, to a dancing window washer, to a wheelie-popping motorcyclist and his sidecar companion - all enjoying the convenience of Little Caesars ‘5 Dolla Holla’ deal. The campaign, in collaboration with Barton F. Graf, showcases not only Green’s directorial range, but a thorough understanding of the Little Caesars brand and humor – while providing a fresh take on their advertising ideals. Now, as our new wheelie-enthusiast friend says – “go get that pizza!”
