Just in time for the UK's Mother's Day, Knucklehead director and 2018 shots Awards New Director of the Year Charlotte Regan grabs us fully by the feels and twists with this emotion-filled promo for Mumford & Sons' Beloved.
Focussing on a young lad's visit to his mother in hospital, the film soon becomes a sweeping fantasy/memory of hijinks between the two. Shot by DOP Jack Wilkinson in Port Talbot, Wales, the vid's lovely visuals perfectly compliment Regan's hallmark emotional core and lucid storytelling.
Commenting on the video, the band said: "The song has very different meanings for everyone… but somehow Charlotte has managed to capture the same wild spirit that we felt when creating it."
