Look, we're not saying that watching The Great British Bake Off is akin to joining a death cult, but you can't help but be slightly perturbed at the fevered rabidity at which ingredients are willing to through themselves at a Kitchen Aid in this otherwise joyful promo for the show's latest series.
Playing on the truism that the nation is ever-eager for another round of Hollywood wannabes, this charming film from 4Creative sees a cheerful group of eggs, raspberries, chocolate, butter and flour battling the elements whilst embarking on an epic journey to the iconic tent.
Given real character by The Line Animation's JuanPe Arroyo and Tim McCourt, only aided by the cracking choice of Belinda Carlisle’s fist-clencher Heaven is a Place on Earth as a soundtrack, this showstopper deserves all of the handshakes it can handle.
