Car Kiss’s great escape

Directed by Oscar Keys, this dreamy and uplifting music video is the first release from musician Caleb Alan Joseph’s solo creative venture, Car Kiss. 

The song, titled Days, sees the artist, formerly known for his role in New Zealand indie-rock duo Broods, begrudgingly preparing for another monotonous day in his depressing corporate job. 

Staring up at the concrete jungle of brutalist architecture he has sudden a moment of revelation, and sprints back to his car to escape the city. 

Through hazy, cinematic shots and playful, eccentric choreography, we see the protagonist explore the sunny coast and countryside with a spring in his step and newfound sense of childlike wonder.
