CANADA announce the signing of Japanese-Brazilian director Rodrigo Inada for representation in the Spanish market.
Inada arrives at CANADA with a reputation for creating visually arresting, high-concept narratives that blend technical precision with profound human storytelling. His work, ranging from the award-winning short film Terra Cene to high-profile collaborations with brands like Meta and Lufthansa makes him a standout voice in the contemporary landscape.
By joining the rosters, Inada brings a unique, multicultural perspective that resonates with CANADA's artistic ambition.
“Rodrigo’s ability to merge cutting-edge post-production with soulful cinematography is exactly what we look for,” says Laura Serra, CANADA EP. “His work doesn’t just look beautiful; it carries a weight and a message that stays with the viewer. We are incredibly excited to bring his vision to our clients.”
Inada, whose portfolio includes striking music videos for Jackson Wang and Arlo Parks, as well as the lyrical Naija Odyssey and baller Giannis Antetokounmpo for WhatsApp, views the signing as a natural evolution: "when I started with filmmaking, CANADA was always an inspiration for me, made me feel like wow there are people making something very different out there for artists I love. And this thought of being able to make something different in this spectrum of work always stayed in my head and sparked something. And here we are, and I feel extremely excited with this new partnership and what is about to come next.
