In this touching branded spec campaign, titled More Than Just Fabric for fashion retailer Buck Mason, directed by Andrea Carrino through Aether Films, a man’s autumn coat becomes the centrepiece of a whirlwind romance.
The story opens with a man boldly offering a stranger his jacket as they wait in a chilly carpark. From this little act of kindness, a heartwarming courtship unfolds through the upcoming season, with the Buck Mason garb making a subtle appearance each romantic vignette.
The reveal pulls us back to the carpark where the spot began: the romance was merely a product of the protagonist’s imagination. As the woman walks away and his opportunity passes, she turns to compliment his jacket, leaving us to wonder whether love might blossom after all.
