Performance director Karen Cunningham shot Kellogg’s and Leo Burnett's latest documentary-style brand film Breakfast Matters for their Better days are built on breakfast campaign.

The film delivers a positive message, celebrating Kellogg’s 25 years of support funding its Breakfast Club programme and donating to food banks in the UK and across Europe. Over the past 25 years, Kellogg’s have donated over £5M and supported 5,000 schools. In real terms that meant many children were able to have breakfast that might not have otherwise been able to.

The cast featured in the film are all authentic and showcase Karen’s prowess in directing real people in real environments.

The film was beautifully shot by DOP Richard Mott, and the edit crafted by Bruce Townend at The Quarry.

Karen Cunningham said this about the film; "I loved this project from the moment I read the brief. It had real purpose and meaning. Finding and working with these inspirational families, teachers and food bank Volunteers was a privilege.”

And finally Nick Crabb, MD of 2AM had this to say; “We are all very proud of this film, especially given the current cost of living crisis, the project always had a special meaning. The film also being 2AM’s final project, feels especially poignant.”
