This gorgeous campaign was created by Lovely, a creativity-first agency within Grupo Dreamers, in partnership with choreographer Carlinhos de Jesus.

Directed by Vitor Manon, through Hefe Studio, the vibrant hero film gives a flavour of the translation of Brazil’s famous national rhythms into the Benesh Movement Notation, an international system widely used in European ballet’s choreographic scores.

Brazilian dances have never had such formal records, so the initiative reinforces the brand’s commitment to celebrating national culture, bringing such moves as the samba, frevo, toada and chula to life in a physical book and across digital platforms.

The luxury 150-page book features beautiful stills by leading Brazilian photographer Maurício Nahas and an elegant layout designed to make the text “dance” throughout the book.

Carlinhos de Jesus highlights the initiative’s historical significance in transforming Brazil's dance, traditionally passed down through oral and physical expression, into a formal record: "Dance takes centre stage with this initiative by Bradesco and brings us, through this book, long-awaited recognition and visibility. What once lived only in the body now exists on paper."
