When a loving Dad (brilliantly played by Luke McQueen) embarks on the wholesome ritual of reading a bedtime story to his unusually "perspicacious" daughter (a note perfect Molly French) he's not expecting to be led into a troubling jungle of beastly bestial ideas.
Known for their flare for offbeat deadpan comedy, Big Red Button, aka Pier Van Tijn and Johnny Burns, have written and directed a chimpion short that wittily explores the "gratuitous sexualisation of primates" and questions "zoo-normative ideology".
But will the tale of a hapless explorer drawn to the charms of an ape-solutely fabulous monkey lead Dad... and maybe Mum... into the unchartered realm of simian sensuality?
