Auchan gets animated about eating well
The French retail company launches a catchy and imaginative musical campaign encouraging kids to eat a colourful, balanced diet.

In collaboration with TBWA, food and drinks retailer Auchan is tackling France’s child obesity emergency with an ambitious initiative that aims to bring colour back to their dinner plates.
At the heart of the campaign, titled Colorfoods, is this vibrant, 2D-animated musical adventure starring a cast of cheerful characters dreamed up by Bordeaux‑based director and illustrator Alexandre Nart. Thoughtfully illustrated scenes unfold as the colours demonstrate healthy eating habits, set to an original song created with Aldebert, a singer-songwriter known for blending humour, poetry, and upbeat music for children.
Inspired by civic education classes, the long-term ambition of the project is to introduce children in French schools to healthier eating habits, and encourage policymakers to update legislation by introducing a new public health message: “For your health, eat colourful.”
