Despite being released less than 20 years ago, comedy movie Elf has fully established itself in the pantheon of Christmas classics like Miracle On 34th Street, Holiday Inn and Gremlins.
Harnessing the film's ample quantity of quotable lines and moments and, quite literally, splicing them into a supermarket setting, ASDA's 2022 Xmas spot from Havas, Have your Elf a Merry Christmas, sees Buddy fill the aisles with his particular strain of festive cheer and mayhem.
Wrangling the moments is Rattling Stick's Danny Kleinman, who, along with some clever comping from the brainiacs at Framestore, manages to create a near-seamless integration that's sure to delight all fans of elf-antics.
