Asda cracks out the Bublé
The supermarket chain's cheeky teaser confirms Canadian crooner Michael Bublé is to be the star of its 2023 Christmas campaign directed by Taika Waititi.

Asda has released a 60-second pre-spot spot, created by Havas London and produced by Hungry Man, that puts speculation to rest as Bublé debuts as its latest seasonal recruit.
Ahead of the retailer’s 90-second Christmas ad launching on 4 November, the teaser, titled Pop the Bublé, follows the investigations of a trio of plucky Asda colleagues who are relaxing on a break enjoying idle bants about cats and suchlike, when they are disturbed by a strange ‘gurgling’ sound.
Following the source of the curious noises, they journey through a fantastical Asda festive warehouse eventually reaching a mysterious door behind which the velvet voiced Bublé is performing pre-song gargles and preparing to remind us that “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”.
