Using motion-controlled cameras to layer multiple takes into a single shot isn't a new technology, but it's still a technique that manages to dazzle when applied perfectly.
Creating the impression of multiple Post Malones, this mesmeric two-part branded music video (stitched together into one seamless film here) sees the artist adorn a series of distinctive Arnette frames whilst relaxing, as you do, against a cactus, car and... er... horse.
Cleverly constructed by RSA's Yoni Lappin, brining the reflective vision to life were Chapeau Studios’ Ben Looram and Camera Control’s Simon Wakley, bringing motion control expertise to the shoot, with the team then seamlessly uniting the motion control shots and enhancing the scenery with colour, mirrors, and fauna.
Post perfection.
