It's oft-said that music can take you to your own little world, but few are as vibrant (and well-choreographed) as the magically lit wonderland visited by the protagonist of this cracking new spot for Apple's AirPods.
Following a young woman (Juilliard School-trained dancer and actor Matilda Sakamoto) as she leaves class into a noisy, over-crowded city, Snap snaps into life when she activates the noise-cancelling ability of her headphones, switching the action from bustle to boogie in a moment.
Choreographed by Ryan Heffington (the genius behind Sia's iconic Chandelier performance, as well as Spike Jonze films for Kenzo and Apple's HomePod) and shot by the every-dependable Kim Gehrig, the spot flies along, chock full of exhilarating moments like the seamless 'state' transitions and a moment where the camera joins Sakamoto in her moves.
