Taking a harrowing concept and somehow mining it for comedic gold, Laurich's latest somehow makes the furry menace a mere background distraction to an untimely dissection of the couple's relationship.

Of course, things getting weird is what's to be expected from the man behind the award-winning A Reasonable Request, another two-hander that found laughs in horror (of a different kind); the director/writer proving once again that his skills at drawing comedic performance and nailing the gag make him one of the best in the biz.
