Stitched together from vignettes and quick shots, the story of two sisters who love and support each other no matter comes through in bright lights and soft emotional reveals.
In Care Wildly, a young woman sits at her computer, trying to find the right words to say. As the cursor on the screen flashes, a beat pulses rhythmically. As she considered the message, flashbacks, impressions, and short, out-of-time reflections come to her, showcasing her relationship with her sister. The scenes are bright and vibrant, stand-alone stories that make up a full, heartfelt story.
Wonderfully crafted by agency Other and Academy director Jack Driscoll, the piece masterfully edits small two-or-three-seconds long memories into an overarching narrative that delivers a resonant emotional impact. The actors are startlingly brilliant, creating a lot of connection in their performance. Overall, the style, warmth, and condensed indulgence allow for an ad that is short and punchy, but doesn’t hold back from delivering sentiment at every single milestone in the character’s relationship.
