Alex Snookes joins JAMM as VFX supervisor
Snookes is joining JAMM’s Los Angeles studio from London, where he worked in established studios, ETC, The Mill, and MPC.
JAMM Visual announce a new addition to the team, VFX Supervisor and Compositor Alex Snookes.
Snookes is joining JAMM’s Los Angeles studio from London, where he worked in established studios, ETC, The Mill, and MPC. “He is a great addition to an already super talented team”, says Senior VFX Supervisor and co-founder Jake Montgomery. “He will be able to offer our clients a beginning to end experience, from onset supervision to his creative visions behind the box, we are very excited.”
Snookes is responsible for helming many campaigns for major brands including Instacart, Apple, Axe, as well as the innovative music video Cash In Cash Out by Pharrell Williams. He was recently nominated for a VES award for 'Outstanding VFX in a commercial' for B&Q Flip.
Snookes has a natural creativity about him, from his early days of studying art and photography, he always knew he wanted to expand his talents, his love of cameras and cinematography drew him into VFX and digital compositing. With a versatile tool skillset, his approach to all of his projects is to drive the creative vision and striving to seek out new perspectives, “I always aim to further my own abilities and offer more than just compositing; I want to tell the best story possible, push the craft as far as it can go and collaborate creatively to make something in which as a team we can take pride in”
Snookes was recently married and has relocated from London with his wife Whitney to sunny southern California.
