Every pub bore loves to sniff, push their glasses up, and state, "you know, that actual irony is that none of these situations are ironic..." the moment Alanis Morissette's 1996 hit rocks the jukebox, so we're not going to do that here.
Instead, we'll compliment The Martin Agency on retaining the oft-cited misnomer in its throwback spot for UScellular, Actually Ironic, in which the Canadian superstar points out cellphone-based activities that irritate in modern life.
Directed by Hungry Man's Dan Opsal, the film hits viewers right in the nostalgia-bone, recreating setups from the original music video and low-key encouraging a heartfelt singalong.
