Dogbook and Catbook have done their own Valentine's Day independent poll and have determined that we love our pets more than our spouses, and even more than Justin Bieber. The Dogbook Valentine's Day Poll Results reveal that 67% of dog owners would rather kiss their dog than their spouse (see more results below).  Dogbook and Catbook are the creation of Geoffrey Roche, founder of Lowe Roche, Toronto, and his son Alexandre Roche. The Dogbook Facebook application has over 3.5 million users. Via the Dogbook Facebook application, over 10,000 dog owners have been surveyed and you can see the surprising results in Dogbook's Valentine's video. "We're very excited to launch these poll results in what was a short two week survey and a huge response from over 10,000 members of the Dogbook Family," says the elder Roche. "People love their dogs (clearly) and this survey certainly bears that out. It was the reason we started Dogbook in the first place, people and their pets have a much stronger bond than ever before and this proves it. A dog or a cat is a truly special companion and nothing else comes close to that bond." 89% of dog owners say their dog loves them more than their spouse.

97% of dog owners would rather spend a sunny afternoon in the park with their dog than with Justin Bieber.

Catbook Valentine's Day Poll Results:

Over 2500 cat owners were surveyed and here are the results:

98% of cat owners would rather cuddle with their cat than Justin Bieber.

85% of cat owners think their cat purrs more than their wife.

50% of cat owners think their cat is harder to wake up than their husband.

88% of cat owners think their cat has better hair than their wife.

70% of cat owners will have their cat as their Valentine instead of their spouse.
