During lockdown Multi-talented creative Caleb Femi created a short film named Again & Again that explores the black male experience in England and all of the ups and downs that come with it.

You may know Caleb from his appearance on the Dazed 100 list of the next generation shaping youth culture and as the first Young People's Laureate as well as collaborations with Tate Modern, the BBC and BFI amongst others.

Caleb has now created a short film that has purposely been released during Black History Month. The film explores young Black men as they navigate the daily trials and tribulations of life in modern-day England and how it can affect their minds. Through the form of dance, poetry and music, it also shows how they are able to come together to support each other which is something that is often not portrayed by the media and not celebrated by those outside of black peer groups.

In his own words: “The film is my offering to the discourse of masculinity, of Blackness and of mental health.”
