Playing more like one of Pixar's tearjerkers than a conventional branded film, Blip: Lightyears from Home, a short from Hospitals United for Sick Kids, aims to console children who yearn for creature comforts whilst unwell.
Made in collaboration with CHEP and produced by Assembly, Finch, and Sonar, the sweet short tells the story of the titular Blip as he journeys through space in an attempt to return home.
Unsurprisingly, given the gorgeous character design, Blip is set to take over shelves in stores around Australia, with each purchase featuring Blip or the Hospitals United for Sick Kids logo contributing to vital funds for research, technology, treatments, and services benefiting sick children across the country.
